How does a Staffing Relationship work? Your company's employees are legally employed by Allegiant for tax reporting and insurance purposes. Allegiant takes on many employer responsibilities and liabilities of worksite employees.
This includes wage reporting, employment tax reporting, workers' compensation administration, unemployment insurance administration and employee benefits administration. Allegiant is established as the employer of record. We assume the liability for payroll taxes and tax filing.
We also provide Workers' Compensation Insurance for all employees.
You retain control of the employees at the worksite.
How do Employees feel about our arrangement? Your employee won't even feel a difference, since Allegiant's participation will be largely transparent to your staff. They will, however, appreciate the added benefits accessible to them.
